Why Relaxation is King
The word “Relax” is emblazoned on one of my favourite jumpers that I wear for lazy Sunday’s spent watching films…
This is one of my favourite concepts from hypnotherapy, as having a special place stored within the confines of your imagination gives you permission to go there whenever you feel you need to. It is first conjured up with your hypnotherapist and please do ask me to invent one in unison with your wishes, as this creative process gives me a real buzz.
A special place is cemented in the client’s mind by repeatedly hearing a detailed description of it whilst in hypnosis. The more times the hypnotherapist takes you there the clearer you can see that turquoise blue water or smell the saltiness of the fresh sea air. Whenever you feel anxious you can instantly be in that forest surrounded by hundreds of conifers complete with all their alpine beauty…
